I’ve been to Paris for Raw Wine, an event around the world that I’ve been attending for years, but first I went with my buyer to visit new and old clients.

To live Paris with a French it’s very interesting because you get in touch with less “touristic” places in this way you can really appreciate the essence of the city, a real full immersion. A chaotic city during the week and relaxing during the weekend, with amazing parks and gardens.

Almost all the clients I have met cook Italian cuisine on their menu, that’s why they want Italian wines to pair. There are some restaurants with only 20 covers, but rich in history and traditions brought by grandparents that moved there many years ago from their region of origin: amazing and touching at the same time, you can really appreciate their and our culture.

Sunday and Monday were dedicated to Raw Wine, one of my favourite wine fair. On Sunday there were lot of people, wine lovers, wine operators looking for authentic wines and some news. Monday was quieter, so I had the chance to talk with other people and taste wine without particular pressure.

These 5 days have been very intense, I had the chance to listen to stories coming from far away, meet unique people and share opinions with other producers coming from all over Europe. These journeys are rich in new experiences and pictures that will last in my mind for a long time.
