Last journeys of the year

Last October I did my first journey to Canada, to Montreal, a tough business trip. Together with my buyer of Bambara Selection and his team, which helped me a lot, we have participated to 2 wine fairs: Raw Wine and Rapispav, and we also had the chance to visit lots of clients. Montreal is a people-oriented city, people there have a great respect towards nature, theirselves and neighbor. I hope my Gambellara will continue to have the success it’s having in this very moment there and hopefully come back soon. It was my first time to Canada and I really have to say you never forget your first!

From the 19th to the 22nd November I travelled to Bordeaux, Bayonne and Biarritz together with Bruno Ducasse from Bonte Di Vino – Vins d’Italie, who is the reference in France for my wines. When I got there on Tuesday evening we immediately went and visit some of my clients that already know me, walking in the beautiful city center of Bordeaux. In the next days, after Bordeaux, we moved to Bayonne and Biarritz. Here nature dominates everything, the wavy landscape, the white houses with red and green windows and very welcoming people. We also visited a Chateaux of the Sauternes area, the last day before leaving; here there is real precision agriculture, nothing is left to chance. I really appreciated their ability to tell their stories and give value to the places, their culture and their way of perceiving wine and agriculture. Being able to let people appreciate volcanic soil and Garganega from Gambellara in a French region, one of the most suitable for viticulture, was for me a great satisfaction and gives me great energy and desire to bring my wines to many other places in the world.
