Last 8th February, at 8.30, I got off the plane in Paris for 5 days of hard work (and of pleasure of course!) with my buyer Bruno Ducasse of Bonte di Vino. The first meeting was at 10.00 to meet some of my clients that already buy my wines; we have spent the whole day un and down Parisian streets having tastings, chats, debates and tasting good food. Parisian nights are long, but I didn’t enjoy them, I was tired and focused on my work, so I went to bed right after dinner.

On Friday morning I woke up early and went for a tour visiting clients to meet them in person and present my Garganega and Durella. Saturday morning was dedicated to relax, I finally managed to be a tourist (I have also supported France during the Six Nations Rugby competition). After that I set up my stand for the 2 days wine fair Raw Wine Paris

The exhibition days passed very quickly, I have shaken hands and visited other pavilions where I could find wineries from all over Europe. A great occasion to meet new territories, taste wines, meet winelovers, restaurant owners and buyers, having the help of Bruno that was present at my desk.

This is my idea of wine fair: business opportunity and meetings with other produces to share ideas and impression about a common passion which is wine. The results of this journey are not immediate, but all the people I have met, the wines I have tasted and the places I have visited will leave a great sign in my memory.
