1950 – Merlot Veneto Igt.

1950 is the year in which Merlot vineyard, used to produce this wine, was planted. The grape harvest is manual and it occurs by mid September. The grapes are brought to the winery using crates. The little grapes are put in specific tanks and the must ferments with the lees for 15 days. The pressing is soft, the wine matures in stainless steel tanks, where periodically I do a battonage. The colour is ruby red, the aroma is intense and delicate. In the glass you’ll find the taste of red fruit, such as cranberry and raspberry, it has a good structure.
