Vineyard adoptions are something I have talked about extensively over the last year here and here. It is a project that is slowly taking shape, but one that gives me great satisfaction, because the relationships that are built up between me and the adopters, but also between them, who usually do not know each other, generate an incredible energy and value. Two interesting aspects of adoption emerge from this.

The first is to propose to specific teams within the company, such as working groups or colleagues, this special experience of being in contact with nature, immersed in a dimension with which they are not normally familiar.

It is only a short step from simple adoption to team building. The result is a project dedicated to companies that want their employees to experience something different, an experience to be enjoyed as a group with a clear common goal: to cultivate vines to produce grapes.

I find this idea very interesting because nature, with its rhythms, teaches you to care, to be patient, to trust others and to work together for a common goal.

A “company” team has already been involved in a first pruning meeting: all present and a very positive experience! I will tell you in the coming months how this particular project evolves.

Another activity in the pipeline is a collaboration with èSenza, a shop in the Vicenza area that often organises tasting sessions and events in collaboration with Marta The Wine Maniac. We are thinking of making a “special” adoption as a shop to offer this opportunity to their customers, planning ad hoc outings throughout the year and giving them the opportunity to experience first hand the different work we do in the vineyard. It is also a nice idea as an opportunity to raise awareness of some issues that are close to my heart and to share experiences.
