Once upon a time there was a volcano with its basaltic rocks. Then men arrived and began to cultivate Garganega. This is how the magic of Passito wine was born in Gambellara, a wine that is the main expression of welcoming and hospitality. El Vin del Ricordo (The wine of the memories) recalls us this story and the tradition of giving to your hosts a glass of your best wine, as a sign of honest welcome. The grape bunches, that previously have dried until March using \u201cPicai\u201d technique, ferment in 50 litres tanks in the attic. Then the wine ages for more than 15 years. The smell is very complex: cacao, coffee, liquorice, medicinal herbs and a lot of ripen fruit. The taste is warm, sweet and elegant, with an intense freshness.
