A new recognition of my work and my choices in the vineyards and in the winery that confirm the quality of our volcano wines, in the respect of Nature.
I’ll start telling you about a new collaboration since January with Meteri, an Italian wine supplier which selects natural wines produced by wine-artisans that respect the cycle of nature, of vineyards and traditions.
They have already involved me in new initiatives, meetings with agents, events; I’m very satisfied, most of all because they share the same idea and vision I have about what a wine should be and about the respect towards the territory.
My and their vision is that wines have to be natural without any compromise: essential elements of a good natural wine are drinkability, cleanliness and elegance, that are values in which I perfectly identify myself and that I always try to express in every single bottle.
I will participate with them to the next edition of Live Wine at Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Milan on 5thand 6thon July, an event dedicated to artisan wine organized in collaboration with the event “Vini di Vignaioli-Vins de Vignerons” and the Associazione Italiana Sommelier Lombardia.
On the 24th and 25th of May I will be in Fano for Biagioli Wine Festival, an event for wine lovers, sommeliers and ho.re.ca. operators (for ho.re.ca. operators especially on Monday).
Masterclasses will be organized with some of the major Italian enologists, the proceeds go to the hospital "Salesi di Ancona".
After September, which is exclusively dedicated to the harvest, I will start again with some events, so you can get to know me or taste my wines.
On October 4th, 5th and 6th I will be in Vicenza, inside the Basilica Palladiana, for ViWine Festival, an event about local wine and culinary excellence.
By the end of the month, on October 28th, I will be in Gambettola for Italia nel Bicchiere Day, it will be all about meetings and tastings with different wineries coming from Friuli Venezia Giulia, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto, Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Marche and Tuscany. All the information to take part to the event are here.
At last a new journey overseas is awaiting: destination Montreal, in Canada. I will participate to 2 exhibitions with my buyer, Raw Wine on October 24th - 25thand Rapispav on October 26th27thand 28th. This time only exhibitions, which are anyway important and are a great opportunity to meet clients that already know my wines and pass down my passion and what’s inside the bottles I produce.

Every year May is a tough month, with lots of events where I must participate. My tour begins on Monday 13th, very close to home, in Trissino at “Tenuta Dalle Ore”.
It’s an event dedicated to wine operators upon invitation organized by Il Convivio Selezione, about fifteen wine producers will participate with their wines.
Then I’ll be in the province of Vicenza again on 19thMay for an event organized by Marco De Tomasi in collaboration with the Pro Loco: every year Marco wants to discover the more particular wineries in Italy and suggests his selection during this event, I have been participating for two editions: the organization and the quality are amazing, you can’t miss it!
By the end of May I will fly to Belgium, I will participate for the first time to PURr anOTHER winefair, where there are wine producers coming from all Europe, chosen because of their respect towards nature and able to get the real essence of the local terroir.
At the end on 8thand 9thJune I will be in Bagnacavallo at the ancient convent of San Francesco with Vinessum, about 100 wine and food artisans for this fair, market and two-days party.
Easter is coming, days are becoming longer, my vines are, little by little, “waking up” and so I have decided to share with some of you the experience that I live every day in the vineyards and in my winery.
The first 12 people that reserve have the possibility to participate to a winery tour and a small walk in the vineyards, if the weather will be fine, and at the end a free tasting of my volcanic wines.
The date is Saturday 13thof April at 10:30, you can book here: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In a few days I will tell you if you’ve been among the fastest to book and you’ll receive a confirmation.
Last weekend I participated for the first time to RAW WINE, a two-days wine fair which is a real community of organic and biodynamic wines. This one in London is just one of the events that are organized during the year in different parts of the world such as Berlin, New York, Los Angeles or Montreal.
What have I learnt from this experience? Which impressions to share with you? A lot of curiosity for organic wines, a lot of young people that want to change their approach towards wine culture and curious to discover new little denominations, such as mine. This is for sure the perfect moment for particular wines, that have their own identity and that aren’t very famous among the wine market, such as the one I produce: the organic Gambellara DOC. The fair has been organized to the last detail, I will for sure participate to other events of Raw Wine in the future.
A few days in the vineyard and then we’ll move to Verona for my 6th time at VinitalyBio, the event dedicated to certified organic wine inside Vinitaly, the international wine & spirits exhibition of Verona. I will be in pavilion F hall 18 of VinitalyBio. I will wait for you there to taste together Primo Incontro 2017 and my Gambellara Classico Col Moenia 2017.
In February I will begin my tour of events and I’ll be busy with that for the next few months, moreover I’ll be busy with all the typical works of this period in the winery and in the vineyards.
The first date is organized by the friends of the “Sottoscala dei Carbonari” on 15thFebruary at 20.00:
It is an association that studies, promotes and spreads the culture and knowledge of craftsmanship in its different expressions; it’s the first time I participate to their events and I’m so curious!
On 23rd and 24th February I’ll be in Rome for the Lazio edition of Vinnatur, together with the other 90 members of the association that was launched in 2006 by Angiolino Maule, I have proudly joined this association last year. The event will take place at Area Eventi Officine Farneto, all the details here.
An amazing start of the year! Few weeks ago I received a great news: I was among the winners of the International Restaurants Grand Prix 2019, a prestigious award dedicated to the culture of food and hospitality, supported by the International Maitres Association Hotel Restaurant, by the Italian Federation of Tourism (Federazione Italiana Settore Turismo) and by the ANIC Press Agency of Genova. This award is assigned every to some restaurants and excellent wineries and the ceremony takes place in a fabulous location: Rimini Grand Hotel.
On Monday 28th January, during the ceremony, there were all the chefs and wineries awarded by the panel, that was conducted by the journalist and food’n wine critic Pier Antonio Bonvicini; the motivations that conquered the panel were “the elegant and easy to drink volcanic wines produced on the hills of Gambellara”.
What else can I say? I’m proud and honored, mainly because these are very important aspects to me.
